There are over a thousand inks for fountain pen lovers. None seem to capture the three dimensional in a way that the new J. Herbin Emerald of Chivoir does. The J. Herbin 1670 line has gold flakes in the ink that are only apparent while viewing at an angle but it makes the words jump off the page. Even your signature seems to jump off the page to be noticed. Now that there are four colors to choose from it can make even the most tame fountain pen geek indecisive. I love to see that they will be coming to my number one store soon. If the colors intrigue you check out http://www.gouletpens.com for more information.

If you find yourself lacking in understanding of fountain pens, may I recommend Brian Goulet’s excellent Fountain Pen 101 series of videos. He has gone to great lengths to make fountain pens, not only accessible but important to the writing world.
The Sheen of gold flakes make this ink stand out from the page and turn the most basic of text into a minefield of awesome.
I can’t wait for release and I look forward to adding it to my collection.
